new years
Last year at this time, I was standing off to the side in a crowded underground lounge by myself. The girls that I came with were too busy being bitter and disappointed that their significant others were not present to usher in the new year with them.  As the clock slowly counted down to midnight and the chanting of the crowd intensified, I found myself wondering why I thought going out would be...

cooking times
In an effort to conserve freezer space, my family will often toss out the bulky packaging in favor of stashing individual packets in open spaces. While this results in a more compact design, it also leaves me with no cooking instructions for most of the items.  It requires a bit of guess work and finesse to get it just right. Sometimes, I will nuke the crap out of whatever it is I plan to devour....

Total babe
I always feel slightly uncomfortable whenever friends try to include me when they’re “scoping out hotties.” I never know quite what to say. I tend to overdo it sometimes.  Him: Dude, check her out! She’s is nice.  Me: (Looks at her) Oh, right. Yeah, totally. I can see that. She sure is looking good. I would totally eat her up. Yum.  Him: ………. Me:...

I finally found a good use for those Christmas cards I bought three years ago and never had people to use them on. Expect cards people. And for the select fortunate few, expect presents. For those that want a special hand-written holiday card from me, I still expect to have some leftover after I’m done. Drop me your mailing info in my inbox and I’ll send one out to you or to...

holeyfred-geddit: And by some kind of miracle I didn’t lose my job.  The line was backed up about 20 people. She was talking on the phone whilst I was trying to serve her. I hate when people are on their phones at the registers, so rather than do that awkward mime thing to communicate, I chose to speak over her, loudly asking if she wanted a bag, if she was paying on cheque, savings or credit...
